Back to School...I mean work

So many of you are aware that I started my interior design business earlier this year. It was a dream come true to finally be in the position to be able to do it. Since I was 18 and decided to major in interior design it was my career goal to someday own my own business. Long story short...I guess what I wanted when I was 18 isn't the same as what I want now that I'm 27. All of my work experience in design had been on the commercial end of things so it was a huge surprise to me to discover that I didn't really enjoy residential design. I always thought that I would love it. I was also surprised at how much I missed the social aspect of "going into the office". I also really missed having a steady paycheck pop up in my bank account every two weeks. So it's back to work I go tomorrow and I'm pretty excited although I do have the "back-to-school jitters". I'll be working in the Marketing Department at the corporate office for Mountain America Credit Union. Maybe Dan will pack a lunch for me with a cute note of encouragement written on my napkin!
