My sisters and I were talking about makeup this weekend and it got me thinking about my favorite products and what I would actually recommend to others. Maybe I'll do this more often...we'll see. In case you are in need of a new moisturizer, foundation, hair
style/color, dish detergent, ointment creme, carpet cleaner, kid's bike,
or jeans....here are my recommendations.
1. Clinique Moisture Surge: By far my favorite moisturizer, I use this twice daily and get it at Macy's.
2. Almay Smart Shade Smart Balance Skin Balancing Makeup: I use this daily for sure and love that it doesn't feel heavy at all or appear cakey. I get this at Walmart.
3. Ombre hair: I'm getting my highlights done to look like this. I think it is more natural looking and easier to maintain.
4. Cascade dish detergent: I switched to something cheaper and it didn't work nearly as well. Definitely worth it to me to pay a little extra for this brand so I don't have to completely wash the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher.
5. A+D Ointment Creme: I had a bad cut on my hand and Adam has had super chapped cheeks this winter. This stuff has worked so well in the last two weeks to get us both healed up.
6. Incredible Cleaner: I just bought this at Bed Bath and Beyond cause I have had several dark spots on my carpet for a while now that I couldn't get clean with other products. This bottle was $4.99 and did the trick.
7. Kettler Tricycle: Adam got this for his birthday and we both already love it. He can be buckled in and I can push him. When he is ready he can pedal on his own and take off. It has a lot of adjustments so it can be used from ages 1-4. I suggest getting it used as it is quite pricey but well worth it if it gets used for several years and can handle the abuse.
8. Express Skinny Jeans: I wear mine sometimes everyday (probably shouldn't admit that :) but definitely every other day. They are so comfortable, durable (I do a lot of crawling around), and a great cut so that I'm not constantly pulling them up.
