Grand Junction, Arches, and Snowbird

Last weekend Adam and I took a little road trip down to Grand Junction to stay at Nana's house while Dan was having a "campout" with the boy scouts...really they stayed at a cabin and grilled steak.  It was perfect timing though because one of my best childhood friends, Rachel, was in Arizona for work so we were able to meet up for the weekend too.  We spent Saturday at Arches National Park and my mom kept Adam for the day.  I hadn't left him for that long before and didn't worry about it until I let her know we were on our way back.  She told me that he was doing great but kept looking around for me...my heart dropped and I drove so fast to get home to him!  Then before Rachel flew out of Salt Lake on Monday back to Chicago, we drove up to Snowbird so she could check out what Utah is really all about...the snow!  It was a fun weekend and Adam did a great job spending so much time in the car.  We were both happy to get home and see Dan though!
