11 Months

Adam will have his first birthday a month from today...crazy!  He has been on the same schedule for a while now.  Sleeps 6-7 and naps 9-11 and 1-3.  He is more interested in people and electronics than his toys but will play for them for little bits of time here and there.  He is started to stand by himself for a second or two and will walk along furniture while holding on.  He eats very well and usually anything we give him.  He loves string cheese though, that is probably his favorite.  He throws little tantrums sometimes when he has to get out of the shower or if we block his path to the toilet or stairs.  He enjoys reading books but knows when we read "Goodnight Baby" it is almost time to get in his crib.  He'll usually start fussing a little bit when we read that book and he'll pull his blankie over his head.  He does that too when he is tired which is pretty funny.  I've taken him to the library twice now for storytime but we mostly just pull books of the shelves and play at the bead table.  He is too little for storytime but we both enjoy having an outing.  He loves playing with his Daddy more than anything.  That is when he smiles and laughs the most.  He does really like playing peek-a-boo around the kitchen island.  That is my favorite thing to play with him.  Be sure to check back next month for his 1 Year update...what the what!!!
