33 Weeks

I can't believe I am now saying that I have 7 weeks left of pregnancy. It seems like I was just saying I was 7 weeks along. I do feel so lucky that I haven't had any problems so far and have really felt great. Especially once the nausea ended at about 14 weeks. Two nights ago baby boy was "riverdancing" or "getting jiggy with it" when we were going to bed and it was so fun for both Dan and I to be able to feel him move around. It was one of those moments that made this all seem more real. I also feel like my belly has really popped in the last week. With seven more weeks of baby boy just growing, I am afraid of how big I'm going to get. My back has started to hurt in just the last week. Not horribly but enough to make sleeping more difficult. I seriously sleep in a fortress of pillows under me, beside me, and on me. My sister-in-law said that pregnancy does a good job of preparing you for a slower pace of life once you have the baby. I laughed about this last night when I thought to myself "I'll quickly run upstairs to change out of my work clothes into casual clothes before I leave the house". First of all, there was no running up the stairs- it was more like waddling. Second of all, I needed to take a moment to catch my breathe once I reached the top of the stairs. And lastly, there was no quickly changing of my pants since I have to slowly lift each leg and hold onto the door frame for support so I don't fall over. What would normally have taken me two minutes ended up taking me more like ten. I guess I need to start getting used to that.

Meg...I LOVE getting a slice of your life through your blog. It also brings back memories. Dan did a lot of dancing and tapped his feet before he was born. Those feet have never stopped! Seven week left...it is seeming more real!

Feeling the baby move is my favorite part of pregnancy :) I hope these next 7 weeks go smoothly! So excited for you guys!

Oh Meg I had to laugh at the last part because I remember it all too well still! I seriously dreaded putting pants or shoes on. Actually I made my husband put my shoes on for me. I felt like a 90 year old grandma. Yes it's hard that last couple months, but I promise you eventually feel back to normal :) I'm so excited for you!
