Taste of Summer

My treat of choice these days comes from those yummy Hawaiian Shaved Ice shacks that are popping up all over. The best one though is just down the street from us in Highland. Best $1 I've spent all summer...three times now. And I told Dan I want to have my birthday party there! Dan is showing me that his Watermelon Icie turned his tongue red and I am asking him if my Tigers Blood Icie is turning my teeth red...



We have also driven up Highland Boulevard a couple times now which goes through to Draper. It is a gorgeous drive overlooking all of Utah County and then Salt Lake County. One of these days maybe we'll hike or bike up there. But we haven't quite reached that level of "outdoorsiness" yet.
