We spent the weekend in Grand Junction with a lot of my family and had so much fun! It all started with a BBQ dinner and some backyard volleyball. Things quickly went south when my sister Stacey's wedding ring slipped off her finger when she set the ball. It was nowhere to be found in the yard and resulted in renting a metal detector the next morning to find it! We watched some World Cup games, went to the lake, and drove along "The Monument" which is a National park in the red rocks with tons of bike and hiking trails. We celebrated my sister Becky's birthday and had YUMMY cake! The drive there and back went by so much faster while listening to a book I downloaded on my iPod. Thank goodness for modern technology..and for family!
