Great Grandmother's Recipe

While visiting with my aunt last Sunday it came up in conversation that she had all of her Grandma's recipes. I thought that was so cool and wanted to see them. They were all in her handwriting and the spelling was a little entertaining, she only went to school until 3rd grade. I loved seeing these and like the idea of framing a bunch of them to hang in a kitchen. What was really special though was hearing stories about my great grandmother and realizing that my mom is so much like her. She was a very hard working woman and loved being busy with her hands. She would quilt, crochet, needlepoint, crochet, sew, can, garden, cook etc. My mom is just the same way. Maybe someday I'll have more homemaking skills like them :)
