Tiddlywinks

Does anyone know where you can buy this mushroom version of Tiddlywinks? My family had this when I was growing up and I can't find where to buy it.

French Toast at Midnight

Ashley made me french toast at midnight on Friday. It made my day!

To: The Owner of this House

I love your house and want my first house to look like just like this. When my sweetie husband drives by it he slows down so I can get a better look.

Dan

Dan is my very most favorite thing. I have been married to him for 1 year, 2 months, and 3 days. I love how sweet and considerate he is of my feelings. I love that he falls asleep with his hand on my head (i know kinda weird, but absolutely endearing). I love that he makes me laugh everyday. I love you Dan.

A little bag of puppets

So I can't sit and watch sports...I have to be doing something, so while watching games today with Dan I made this little bag for these little puppets I got for my niece's birthday. My sewing machine needle broke and got jammed in the bottom part so I had to finish it by hand stitching...it is not my finest sewing job but I think Olivia will still like it.

Happy Weekend

It was a beautiful Autumn day in Utah today. I should have gone for a ride on my bike but we had a busy day full of Ikea, BYU football, and of course the Yankees.

City Living

I was reminiscing today about my first year of living in DC with my girlfriends after graduating. I loved living in Crystal City and at Lofts 590. I can't believe that was three years ago. Time is flying by!

Sometimes you just don't have a good morning

Last Friday while getting ready to go to a wedding after not having hot water or a towel to take a shower, I spilled liquid foundation down the front of my black skirt and belt. I frantically scrubbed with cold water and soap with no success. I tried to borrow a skirt or dress from someone else but no one brought extra clothes. I went back to my room to find that Dan was scrubbing the skirt clean with not mine but his electric toothbrush and it worked. He is such a stud. Because of my mini-disaster we were late to leave to drop off a friend and pick up a friend at the train station before arriving at the wedding at 8:30 am. In a frenzy I entered the train station address in our GPS and we were on our way. We dropped off the one friend and were on the phone with the other friend to tell him to come get in the car. The only problem was he couldn't find us and we couldn't find him. After way too minutes we realized I put the address for the restaurant we were going to the night before in the GPS and there happened to be a train station there. I felt like a complete idiot. We drove to the correct train station at 8:45, picked up our friend and tried to make it as quickly as possible to the wedding. Of course we were behind a garbage truck which stopped every block and took his merry old time. And then of course we were stopped behind school buses pulling out of a school after dropping off kids. At this point we were just laughing. We made it just minutes before the wedding began. I sat in my chair with the front of my skirt still soaking wet and tried not to breath too heavily from just running up the stairs. But I felt such happinness and peace looking at the faces of Anne's loved ones all there to support her on her special day. Then my morning didn't matter anymore and the day was beautiful!

Thought of the Day

"True love is not so much a matter of romance as it is a matter of anxious concern for the well being of ones companion."

Happy October

Dan and I are enjoying a quiet weekend at home and are loving the Fall weather. We have made yummy big breakfasts, worked on homework and projects, and have watched the LDS General Conference. Hope you are having a great weekend!
