In the middle of the night...

I hear Dan laughing at 2am and we are both asleep. I sleepily ask, "Dan what are you laughing about?" Dan responds, "I don't know..." and rolls over. This gave me giggles all day today as I remembered this. I love when people talk and laugh in their sleep. It makes for good stories. Share yours with me please :)

MJ coming back....

Word on the street is that Michael Jackson will be in concert in London in July and one of my girlfriends is actually going to it. I'm thrilled for her because she will LOVE it...pretty cool huh?

Marathon Superstars

I'm so proud of Anne and Meg for running the DC Marathon! Way to go girls!!!! I saw a sign today for a Utah Valley Marathon and think I might just look into doing this...anyone else crazy enough to want to run 26.2 miles or however many it is?

Yoga

this is my public announcement that i am going to do yoga 3 times a week

(hopefully this will help me to be more successful in meeting this goal...feel free to check with me on how i am doing)

New Favorite Song

I came across this song on one of my resident's cell phones and I love the guitar. I came home from work and looked up the video with Dan. I really liked the video too. Especially the studio that it was filmed in. I love the brick wall. I also loved the flamenco dancers. Someday I want to learn to flamenco dance.

Note to Self

• Change last name on bank accounts/credit/debit cards
• Get a government issued ID with new last name on it

(my thoughts as I was questioned in the Orlando airport because the name on my ID did not match the name on my boarding pass)

Interior Design Portfolio Competition

I was asked to be a judge at the student Interior Design Portfolio Competition at LDS Business College where I graduated almost four years ago....and I am so excited. I haven't been working in design since moving back to Utah and it feels like there is a little hole in my heart. This causes me to rearrange our furniture often, stalk design blogs, and shout with joy when my Dwell magazine arrives in the mail. So having this opportunity to reconnect with the design community in this way is so lovely.

Stuck Labels

Oh Happy Day is one of my most favorite blogs and she is starting to sell labels like this and I love them. I want to label everything and sure wish I had more time to plan for my wedding because I would have loved to have one of these at each place setting.
