Seven Sisters and Mom

I spent last weekend in Park City with my Mom and sisters. It was pure happiness. We walked around Main Street in Park City sipping hot chocolate and did some shopping at the outlets.



Park City is BEAUTIFUL right now with all the leaves changing colors. There is a golf course out the condo's back door and this is the view. I LOVE fall!



On Saturday night we went to the Relief Society Broadcast in Salt Lake and then out to dinner.



This is all of us...there was lots of laughter while trying to get a good picture. I love all these girls!

Oops

Earlier tonight as Dan and I walked out of our apartment to go to a Barbeque for our church the following conversation took place.

Dan: "You have keys, right?"
Me: "No...do you have keys?"

That is right...we locked ourselves out.

Note to self:

1. Get a spare key made
2. Always go to the neighbors house when locked out because playing Wii Resort with Caleb and Sara makes it all worth it

Laundry

I wish doing laundry was of one of my favorite things but quite honestly it is not. How could I possibly complain though when I have a washer and dryer and all I really have to do is fold it and put it away. I'm going to start to do better.

Simplify Supper

Greg told me to check out his sister's website, Simplify Supper and I am already a huge fan. I don't do very well with grocery shopping or making dinner every night and this makes it SO easy. I have the recipes for each night and a grocery list for the whole week. I'll let you know how Week 1 goes, and if you give it a try let me know what you think.

September

I can't believe it is the middle of September. This month I want to:

1. Buy colored pencils...I don't know why that is my "school supply" of choice
2. Eat peaches of all sorts...fresh, canned, sugar peach pie, peaches and cream
3. Eat apples of all sorts...fresh, applesauce, apple pie, with peanut butter, cider
4. Go on a hay ride...maybe I am too anxious for October

I can see clearly now....

I got contacts today and could immediately tell a difference. It is nice to be able to read street signs, menus, and the score on ESPN (because Dan is watching of course :) But why is it so hard to take them out? I haven't put them in yet myself so we'll see how that goes in the morning. Hopefully they will get easier to use very quickly.

Flying High

We went on a hot air balloon ride this morning to celebrate our anniversary a little more. It was so fun and it was so pretty to see Utah Valley from the sky!

Puppy Love

On Saturday we got to play with my friend Marlayne's new puppy Gus. Gus loved to cuddle with Dan. I want a puppy :)
