Autumn in the Air

Maybe it is more because school started today but it feels like Autumn is in the air. I'm so excited for Fall. I am excited to wear coats again and I really like these ones from Alloy.

New Hairstyle

I am tired of my hair. I recently went brown but that isn't doing it for me. And I want my blonde hair back. I will definitely go back to blonde but I'm thinking of going short too. Any thoughts?

Learning to use a new toothbrush

I know I can't be the only one out there who had trouble learning to use this toothbrush. Apparently I am not used to brushing my teeth with my mouth closed. The first two times I tried to use this (and this is no exaggeration at all) I got toothpaste down my shirt, all over my face, and up my nose. Please tell me you have had trouble too.

Grandma's House

My Grandma Jan lives in Sugarhouse in Salt Lake City and it really is one of my favorite things to go visit her. She is one of the funniest women I know and no matter how hard life can get for her sometimes, she just laughs about it. This is a quality I hope I can pick up from her. We were able to see her on Sunday night and I saw this picture of my Grandpa sitting on her kitchen table. It warmed my heart. I love him.

A little getaway

Amidst Dan's graduation celebrations we had our one year anniversary. Dan secretly made arrangements with a family friend for just the two of us to get away to their cabin in Heber for a night. It was such a great surprise and so nice to get away for a little bit. I can't believe how fast the past year has gone by. Thank you Dan for being so wonderful and for always making me laugh!

Walking for Graduation

Dan graduated! Well...he walked for graduation. He will officially be done in December and he is very excited...and so am I! His parents flew out for it and we had a great time with them. Dan would probably say the highlight of all of it was eating at his favorite restaurant Sushi Ya on State Street in Provo/Orem. (If you love sushi and are in the area you have to check it out.)

Night Skiing

Sundance Resort will be open for Night Skiing this year and this makes me very happy. I will actually get to go snowboarding this year and can't wait.

Long Day...Yummy Sandwich

I worked from 9 until about 10:45 tonight. Needless to say, it was a long day. But Dan brought me some dinner and hung out with me (aka watched Yankees highlights) while I finished work so I wasn't alone. That was so very sweet of him. For dinner he brought me a yummy Turkey, Bacon, & Avacado Sandwich from Kneaders. It made my day!

Warm Summer Nights

It has been way too hot in Utah for my liking the last few weeks but I do love the summer nights when it cools off a little. I also love hearing the crickets at night.
